Purpose of this role: -

To liaison between business and technology for providing solutions throughout the project life cycle of new and existing business products including end to end UAT.

Key Responsibilities:-

a. Stakeholder Liaising:-

  • Tracking new/ modified business requirements (including key projects).

  • Interacting with the requirement originators (Business Users/ other MIIs) to understand and finalize business requirements.

  • Coordinating with technology teams to finalize design for the business requirement/ key project.

  •  Maintain status updates for such business requirements and share the same with relevant stakeholders on a need basis.

b. Operations and maintenance of documentation:-

  • Continuous maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures/ knowledge documents.

  • Review and sign-off Business Requirements received from the originators 

  • Review and sign-off Impact Analysis/ Software Requirement Specifications received from technology team.

  • Preparation and review of Traceability matrix.

  • Preparation and review of test scenarios and test cases.

  • Preparation of various MIS for senior management

c. Core function:-

  • Prepare User Test Plan (UTP)

  • Conduct user acceptance testing. 

  • Capture UAT evidence

  • Raise identified defects for correction and track its closure.

  • Presentation/ Demonstration of new function(s) to the originator of the Business Requirement 

Educational Qualifications:-

Essential - Desired – 

CA/ CFA/ MBA (Finance)/ PGDBM (Finance)

Technical Skills:-

Mandatory – Basic knowledge of SQL & Advanced Excel functions.

Business Knowledge:-

  • Understanding of financial and capital markets.

  • Knowledge of SDLC

Total Experience:-

Preferred 1-3 Years

Desired – Experience in capital market domain. 

Understating of capital market products such as Equity Market, Equity Derivatives, Currency Derivatives, Securities Lending and Borrowing, Mutual Funds, Money market products etc. Understanding of core business functions such as: Trading, Clearing, Settlement, Collateral Management and Risk Management.

Certifications:-

Good to Have: NISM or equivalent certifications in capital markets and derivatives
